Decide to add an oldie here while I continue to work on my current pointillist piece.
This piece was a challenge from a follower of my work. Didn’t know where the reference photo came from, maybe the “Batman” movie,(myself I don’t watch superhero movies) but found it was a piece created by Alex Ross. The photo I got in my e-mail was 2in x 4 in. So I sat at the comp to sketch it out first, then to the table to flesh it out.
On 18 x 24 watercolor paper, in pen & ink in pointillism, using the 0×0(.30) Koh-I-Noor tech pen. Hope you enjoy.
